When Google “began” in 1995, it was born merely as an invisible idea. When 22-year-old Stanford student, Sergey Brin and University of Michigan student, Larry Page formed “BackRub” in 1996, it was created for the Stanford campus as a miniature search engine for data archiving. Within the year, they ran out of space. The idea for an online encyclopedia that stored, knew, and searched the human approach to understanding the universe, was born.

Within two years, Google – derived from the word “googol” which is symbolic of 1 (and 100 zeros) – was being promoted via a friendly newsletter sent out by Larry. A business entrepreneur, or angel investor, took a leap of faith, wrote a check for $100,000 and well, the rest is history.

But where is Google now, other than dominating the Internet, running a major email fad, developing phones and computers and even now cars? Turns out, Google has entered the world of marketing a la Google+, a program designed specifically for business to business marketing.

Through this infographic, learn about how Google+ can help your business reach out to fellow businesses, as well as potential clientele.
