With just over 3 weeks to go before the Digital Marketing Show I caught up with the Show's Producer, Nick James, to ask a few questions.

What are you most nervous about 3 weeks before an event?

We’ve got a great team running the show but there are always last minute concerns - that’s the great thing about digital though - you can quickly communicate with everybody giving them updates right up until the show opens.

In the old days you had to close things off so much sooner as everything relied on print and post.

Does this event bring any particular challenges?

As ‘the digital marketing show’ I guess we’re expected to be great at all things digital - and of course it all moves so quickly that you can't be expert at everything - we like to launch in ‘beta’ and then tweak as we go.

Why is there a need for a show like this?

There are masses of events out there for ‘techies’ and specialists but until now nothing for mainstream marketers - we thought there was a need and the appetite from delegates has proved us right.

How can the event be free to attend?

Great question - the Digital Marketing Show is free to attend because it’s paid for by sponsors and exhibitors - we’ve selected a great bunch of partners who are all there to share their knowledge.

The Digital Marketing Show runs from the 26th to the 28th of November at ExCel in London. You can register for your FREE ticket here.
