Data Protection Magazine has been launched, to provide readers with the latest news, comment and insight in data protection and privacy.

The first edition was released just a few days before the implementation of the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which comes into effect on 25th May. The magazine offers the business generalist rather than the data protection or privacy professional insight and opinion into the latest developments of data protection.

The magazine will be released on a quarterly basis and in this issue, it features interviews with Abigail Dubiniecki, Specialist at My Inhouse Lawyer, and Nicola McKilligan Regan, Senior Partner at Privacy Partnership, alongside other experts covering topics including, GDPR, blockchain, PSD2, and PECR.

The issue also includes written features by data protection expert Ardi Kolah, Executive Fellow and Director of the GDPR Transition Programme at Henley Business School covers GDPR and blockchain technology.

Data Protection Magazine has been developed by the creators of the GDPR Summit Series and the Data Protection World Forum, these events focus on delivering quality content to help organisations with data protection compliance.

As the partner publication for the Data Protection World Forum, the magazine is currently free of charge and available to download from the website in a digital format to read on smartphones and tablets.
