Groupon today announced it has partnered with Tradedoubler, a leading performance marketing company.

The development comes as Groupon, a world leader in local commerce, pushes to migrate publishers onto its in-house global affiliate platform, the Groupon Partner Network (GPN).

Tradedoubler is currently working with Groupon to grow its in-house affiliate network and to help publishers get maximum value from the platform. In addition to migrating Groupon’s publishers across 20 markets, Tradedoubler is also helping to recruit new publishers.

Looking forward to a future of increased creativity and competitivity, Ruairi Fitzpatrick, Head of Affiliates at Groupon EMEA, says: “Tradedoubler recognised our ambition to create one of the strongest in-house affiliate programmes in e-commerce. Tradedoubler’s extensive international expertise and innovative technology will help us achieve this and become even more competitive.”

Dan Cohen, Regional Director at Tradedoubler says: “Our goal is to help Groupon expand its international reach by driving publishers to the company’s affiliate marketing platform. The partnership highlights how Groupon values our expertise in building international performance marketing programmes that drive brand recognition and sales.”
