We all know how important apps are. Take a guess at how much apps you use a day, and how many times you use them.

But, as editor of a marketing website, I don't see many of our contributors talking, or wanting to talk, about app store optimisation.

Rory Mudie, founder of Redbox Mobile, is however. And he's talking about it at Integrated Live.

What area of marketing do you specialise in?

App store optimisation.

How long have you been with the company?

I founded Redbox Mobile PLC in 2013.

How long have you been in marketing?

24 years.

Why do you do what you do?

I enjoy making clients happy.

Which marketing platform do you use the most?

LinkedIn.

If you could only use one marketing platform for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Again this would have to be LinkedIn. It’s such a powerful tool for finding clients globally and cultivating new business relationships.

What is your favourite thing about marketing?

Return on investment.

Is content still king?

Content is definitely important, but in my opinion relevancy is king. It's the key to making content work. If what we are producing isn’t useful and relevant for our clients, then what’s the use of the content?

In a sentence, what's your presentation about?

Getting the right user, understanding them and getting more of them.

You can find Rory's presentation on the effect of Apple search ads in the Social, Video & Mobile Theatre at Integrated Live at 4:30pm on 16 November and 11am on 17 November, but you'll have to register for your free ticket first:
