Chat bots have grabbed the attention of marketers in 2016. Advanced AI designed to enhance the customer experience sounds like an appealing prospect for businesses.
But now, the world's first chat bot designed to facilitate money transfers has been developed by Azimo.
Harnessing the use of mobile, technology and machine-learning, the chat bots, which uses Facebook's Messenger app, enable transfers to be made anytime, anywhere, and provide a fast, intuitive service that fits its tech savvy user-base.
The new Azimo bot is designed so that both senders and receivers can engage with the company in a way that fits seamlessly into their busy daily lives. Interacting with users in the style of a Facebook friend, the bot answers questions about rates, send countries and delivery methods instantly and it’s fully integrated with the Azimo platform, taking users directly to the mobile app or desktop when they’re ready to make a transfer.
Azimo CEO, Michael Kent, said: “We’re always searching for ways to make money transfer easier for our customers. The ability to have a fast and informative conversation with Azimo via Facebook Messenger is a great new alternative to opening our app or calling our customer service team.
“Money transfers should be as easy as sending a message to a friend and we strongly believe that artificial intelligence technologies that put customers back in control of their money are the future of financial services. This bot is just the beginning.”
